So what is visiting the Food & Drink Festival going to be like?

You told us that the Festival in September 2012 was too crowded (there was over 2000 visitors) and we want to create a smoother, roomier experience for you in 2013.

We will have one-way flows in place at our two main indoor venues - The Baptist Hall and The Princess Theatre and we will have a new, large outdoor market area too so as to spread out the treats.

The Festival Programme will also include more vouchers and deals for you; as well as the essential information about the Festival. It will be available in the run up to the Festival from local venues and the Tourist Information Centre (BiARS) on the sea front.

The venues will be the same as 2012, with easy reach of each other. Both offering a wide variety of food and drink from around the region with tastings and sales. On the main street between the two venues you will find our new outdoor market - in Association with Somerset Farmers Markets.

Read the full line up on the Exhibitors tab for May 2013.

We will be putting on Demonstrations throughout the day on the KDS Interiors Fresh Ideas Stage. These will be local chefs and food producers to give you an insight into their crafts. This is in the Baptist Church - read more about them on the Demonstrators tab.
